Coach Hire Connections London Games 2012 Sightseeing Bus Tours

Would you like to know more about the forthcoming 2012 Olympic Games in London?  Coach Hire Connections has started a new sightseeing bus tour, which it hopes will shed some light on one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

Taking in the sights and history of London’s East End, which is intrinsically linked to the 2012 Summer games, the tour will include Canary Wharf, Isle of Dogs, Greenwich, the Dome, Excel Centre and Stratford.

Hear how Canary Wharf got its name, what competitions will take place at the historical sites in Greenwich and how the Dome has been transformed into a fantastic site for the gymnastics competition.

Visit the Excel Centre opposite London City Airport and see the strip of water where champion rower Sir Steve Redgrave trained.

See the huge site in Stratford where clearing has already begun in preparation for the building works and appreciate the magnitude of the new international station, which will be the centre of transport links to and from the site from London and the rest of the UK.

Three trips are planned with itineraries to suit – schoolchildren, adults and VIPs.
